West Memorial Tiger Sharks Refund Policy
- If you withdraw from the team before the first day of practice, you are eligible for a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be offered on or after the first day of practice except for 6 and under swimmers.
- All swimmers MUST be able to swim the length of the pool independently by May 20th. Swimmers 6 and under will be required to undergo an evaluation on May 20th. A parent/guardian is required to attend the evaluation. If your swimmer is unsuccessful in reaching the milestone at the time of the evaluation, he/she will not be able to continue attending practices, participate in the mock meet/time trials or swim in the meets competitively and a 25% refund will be issued. To be eligible for the partial refund, your swimmer MUST have attended practice every day. The swimmer may be allowed to participate as an assisted swimmer only. Swimming unassisted means the swimmer may not touch the pool's side or bottom and may not be assisted by another swimmer or adult. It is permissible for swimmers 6 years and under to rest briefly on the lane ropes, but they cannot touch the bottom.
